Lead strategic partnerships at Qblox! As Head of Partnerships, you’ll forge key collaborations, shape our product roadmap, and drive business growth in the quantum computing space.

We foster strong partnerships, collaborating on government-funded projects and commercial initiatives that benefit our customers. As the head of partnerships, you will manage and grow our international team, reporting directly to the General Manager of North America. You’ll build lasting relationships across the quantum computing value chain and collaborate with our product team to shape our partnership and product roadmap. Your mission
As the head of partnerships, you’ll connect Qblox with key external partners by identifying opportunities, developing projects, and managing collaborations. You’ll lead and grow a team that works across departments to ensure alignment between partner needs and our product roadmap. With a focus on driving business growth, you'll manage budgets, develop partnership programs, and collaborate with the General Manager on strategic decisions. Your leadership will inspire your team to take ownership and thrive as we grow together.
- monitoring the development of the value chain and the public funding landscape to build a partnership roadmap
- Create partnership programs to build up a brand and consistently deliver value to various groups of partners
- Build up the partnership team spreading out responsibility geographically in USA and Canada, across various types of partners (academic, start-ups, scale-ups, big IT)
- Identify areas for company growth and support the product team in driving market and product development
- Acquire deep partner knowledge through partner and conference visits. Interact with our product, sales and marketing teams to gain understanding of their use cases and requirements and effectively translate these into the product roadmap and engagement strategies;
- Align with the General Manager and product team to make build-buy-partner decisions
Job requirements
Skills and experience:
- Experience as a Head of Partnerships or similar senior level position
- At least 5 years of experience in partnership management or business development roles
- At least 5 years of leadership/management background in a high-tech, R&D-driven industry (e.g., semiconductor)
- Experience in grant acquisition with EIC, Darpa, Iarpa or similar is highly preferred
- Experience in writing business proposals with multiple stakeholders
- Experience and a strong network in the quantum industry is highly preferred
- a PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent field

Our first interview is a 30-minute online meeting with our talent acquisition partner. It's your chance to share your background and reasons for applying while asking initial questions about Qblox.

Step 2 | In depth interview
This 60–90 minute online session with your future team lead explores your experience and potential fit with Qblox. For technical roles, a coding assignment may also be part of this step.

Step 3 | The Floor is Yours
In the final stage, we invite you (preferably onsite) to meet the team and present why you’re the right fit for the role. Bring your unique touch, surprise us!

Step 4 | We want You!
