What will you do?

Your Mission

As our Assistant Production Manager, your primary mission will be to contribute significantly to the efficient and high-quality production of our products. You will play a crucial role in production planning, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and supporting both production and logistics colleagues to meet departmental goals. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining smooth operations and achieving our targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize production planning and processes to enhance productivity and meet deadlines

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations within the production environment.

  • Proactively identify and flag any potential delays in the delivery schedule, implementing solutions where possible.

  • Support the international export control processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Oversee stock management and administration, maintaining accurate inventory levels.

  • Organize and coordinate the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Liaise effectively with buyers and sales staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment of production with demand.

  • Maintain and update all applicable process descriptions to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.

Job requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a production environment.

  • Experience in a production environment within a related industry is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

  • Familiarity with process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes is a significant advantage.

  • Demonstrated customer focus with a strong drive to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Fluency in English is essential.

This 60–90 minute online session with your future team lead explores your experience and potential fit with Qblox. For technical roles, a coding assignment may also be part of this step.
