Introduction
Qblox is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Manager to play a critical role in optimizing our sales processes, ensuring efficient order administration, maintaining the integrity of customer data, and supporting our internal compliance program, particularly related to export control. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing tools, analytics, and processes to ensure a seamless collaboration between our sales & operations team allowing them to achieve and exceed their targets while adhering to all relevant regulations. Responsibilities:
Sales Process Optimization: Analyze existing sales processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement streamlined and efficient workflows to enhance sales effectiveness and ensure compliance.
Order Administration: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end order administration process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of sales orders in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Sales Technology & Tools: Manage and optimize our sales tools CRM (HubSpot), CPQ and Order admin tools, ensuring data integrity, user adoption, and effective integration across systems. Responsible for the way of working and implementation in sales technology & tools (e.g. managing product catalogue, price books, changes to quote setup, etc)
Sales Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain key sales metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and order processing efficiency. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, including potential risks.
Sales Planning & Forecasting: Support the annual and quarterly sales planning process, including quota setting, territory alignment, and sales forecasting.
Sales Incentive Administration: Support the administration of sales incentive programs, ensuring accurate tracking, calculation, and timely communication of payouts, while adhering to any compliance-related considerations.
Sales support & Project Management: Lead and manage sales operations projects (e.g. non-standard requests, tender submissions, etc) ensuring timely completion and successful implementation.
Data Management & Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance processes within the sales systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Implement data cleansing and enrichment initiatives.
Internal Compliance Program (Export Control): Drive continuous improvements and ensure adherence to the company's internal compliance program, driven by Dutch, European and US export control regulations. This includes understanding relevant regulations, assisting with risk assessments.
Training & education: ensure new and existing team members are familiar with the processes, helping onboarding new joiners and organizing trainings on changes / best practices
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with other departments, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Logistics, to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives, order fulfillment, data management, and compliance efforts.
Staying Current: Continuously research and evaluate new sales operations technologies and best practices, as well as changes in export control regulations, to ensure our sales organization remains competitive, efficient, and compliant.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Finance, International Trade, or related field.
5+ years progressive sales operations experience, including order administration, customer data management, and exposure to export control compliance (preferably in high tech).
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements in order administration and data management.
Proven expertise with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tech, emphasizing data management.
Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
Strong understanding of order processing and data privacy best practices.
Familiarity with export control regulations (e.g., ECCN, Dual-use).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, including identifying compliance risks.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools).
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, including conveying compliance information.
Proactive, results-oriented with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
