What will you do?
Are you a DevOps Engineer who would like to build industrial scale quantum computers? We can give you the opportunity to work on tomorrow's technology in a friendly and flexible working environment (and from home!).
At Qblox, DevOps collaborates with our firmware/software engineers and application support specialists to facilitate product and infrastructure development. The role reports to the Head of Software, and will work with a team of R&D domain experts to meet development requirements, automate pipelines, and manage infrastructure.

If you have 5+yrs of experience in a DevOps or similar role within a Linux Environment, we'd like to have the chance to show you what it's like to work at Qblox.
You probably know this already, but your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments across multiple internal functional domains.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions for our in-house quantum computing solution development and test environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout all infrastructure.
Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and work on maintaining system efficiency.
Plan for the scalable growth of development requirements and infrastructure, considering cloud, on-premises, or hybrid solutions.
Own the release pipeline and process, collaborating with several R&D functional teams before, during, and after release.
Coordination with productivity tool maintainers when Jira, Confluence, Google workspace, etc, adjustments are required.
Measures of success:
Infrastructure uptime and scalability.
Internal customer feedback, multiplier effect on domain work performance.
Promptness and accuracy of releases.
Job requirements

To enjoy this role, we anticipate that you will have some of the following:
Education and experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
Past work experience administrating, automating, deploying and securing a Linux environment.
Bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Additional related certifications shall be taken into consideration.
Experience in a scaleup environment a plus.
Skills and competencies
Ability to work across technical and functional boundaries, influence, and inspire team members to succeed.
Great investigative and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practice.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab, etc.
Virtualization and containerization experience including KVM, QEMU, libvirt, Podman/Docker
Orchestration ability with Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, etc.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and similar in a Linux environment.
Experience in FPGA, Embedded Linux, and Hardware development environment a plus.
