What will you do?

Your Mission

In this role, you won't just be putting pieces together; you will be the guardian of build quality for our advanced modules. You will execute high-precision manual assemblies, run critical component test sequences, and ensure that every batch leaving the line is flawless. This role is ideal for someone who finds satisfaction in methodical, structured work, maintains unwavering focus during routine tasks, and takes immense pride in delivering perfection every single time. We are looking for someone who can join us at a part-time basis, ideally to combine with finishing your study and to get your experience in the quantum industry!

Key Responsibilities

1. Precision Assembly & Batch Manufacturing

  • Batch Production: Build identical, high-precision modules in standardized batches (e.g., 20 units at a time) to meet weekly production targets.

  • Methodical Execution: Strictly follow detailed, step-by-step technical assembly instructions without cutting corners.

  • Tactile Craftsmanship: Execute manual operations including screwing, clicking, pasting, and utilizing specialized tooling with absolute accuracy.

2. Quality Verification & Standardized Testing

  • Component Inspection: Perform routine visual and physical inspections on essential incoming and outgoing components.

  • Defect Prevention: Conduct batch testing on cables and sub-assemblies to ensure zero manufacturing defects before they enter the main integration line.

  • Automated Testing: Run assembled products through predefined, automated test sequences and verify operational compliance against strict performance metrics.

3. Operational Administration

  • Real-Time Tracking: Update production tracking systems and internal databases in real-time as units move through the line.

  • Traceability: Accurately log completed tasks, quality checkmarks, and component serial numbers with precision.

Who You Are & Qualifications

Core Competencies

  • Precision Manual Work: Comfort and experience with high-precision manual tasks.

  • Process-Driven: Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow strict procedural instructions and checklists to the letter.

  • Reliable & Consistent: Dependable in meeting daily production targets while independently maintaining high quality standards.

  • Basic IT Skills: Competent with basic computer systems for data entry, logging serial numbers, and system updates.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in professional English (all team communication and documentation are in English).

  • Availability: Able to work a part-time schedule at our headquarters in Delft.

This 60–90 minute online session with your future team lead explores your experience and potential fit with Qblox. For technical roles, a coding assignment may also be part of this step.
